Duffie Stone serves as solicitor for the 14th Circuit and as chairman of the South Carolina Commission on Prosecution Coordination. He knew as a young man that he wanted to enter the field, and in the following video, he reflects on how he entered the field, including:
- “I went to law school knowing I wanted to be a prosecutor.”
- “I don’t know that there was one single thing that led me in that direction.”
- “I clerked for the solicitor’s office in Columbia when I was in law school, after my first year, and the minute I walked in, I knew that’s where I needed to be.”
