Brian King, founder of the multicity King Law practice, and his colleagues set up contingency procedures when the COVID-19 pandemic swept the nation several years ago. In this video, he discusses how those procedures still helped the firm cope with the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, including:
• “The COVID pandemic made our firm ready for this kind of completely different, but in some ways similar, kind of circumstances we found after Helene.”
• “When Helene hit, as different in so many ways as COVID was, it was the exact same discussion. We knew we were going to be down, we didn’t know how long, we ended up having 10 of our offices out of our 24 offices that were down for some significant times.”
• “Those protocols we put into place, so we knew exactly what we’d have to do if we were down 25, 50 or 75%.”
