Lori E. Jolly has joined the Greenville law firm of Devlin & Parkinson as an associate. Jolly will focus her civil litigation practice on medical negligence and other professional liability litigation.

The law firm of Gallivan White & Boyd announces that John E. Cuttino has joined the firm’s Columbia office as a shareholder. Cuttino’s practice will focus on the litigation of a variety of matters including class actions, design and construction defects, toxic and mass torts, insurance coverage, tort and personal injury, intellectual property, products liability, professional negligence, and alternative dispute resolution.

The law firm of Richardson Plowden & Robinson, P.A. announces that Francis M. “Frank” Mack will retire after 32 years of practicing construction law at the firm.

Jimmy Long, Bruce Wallace and Tracy Vann of Nexsen Pruet have been elected to the House of Delegates for the South Carolina Bar. They will each serve a two-year term beginning July 1. Long, in the firm’s Columbia office, is a commercial litigator who has tried cases to verdict in federal court, state circuit court, the administrative law court and family court. He has argued appeals before the South Carolina Supreme Court and the South Carolina Court of Appeals. Wallace, in the firm’s Charleston office, represents a variety of banking and financial institutions in real estate litigation, commercial litigation and mortgage foreclosures. He also represents insurers and corporate clients in bad faith and coverage issues, professional liability, business litigation, and probate litigation matters.
Vann, in the Charlotte office, is a construction litigator who represents owners, contractors and design professionals in a full range of business disputes. She has also represented clients in state and federal courts on matters related to insurance, real property and commercial landlord/tenant litigation.

McAngus Goudelock & Courie has opened offices in Memphis, Tenn., and Oxford, Miss. The firm has eight offices in North Carolina and South Carolina. Today, the firm has more than 130 attorneys in 10 offices across the Southeast.
